Andaman and Nicobar RTE Admission 2025-26: If at least 25% of students in entry-level classes (Nursery/Pre-School, KG/Pre-Primary, and Class I) come from disadvantaged neighborhoods, all schools are mandated to enroll them. Furthermore, all schools are obligated to provide free and compulsory elementary education until its completion, with the stipulation that if the school offers pre-school education, the admission criteria for that program must be adhered to.

The Andaman and Nicobar RTE School Admissions serves as a vital resource for the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act of 2009, a significant piece of national legislation applicable across all States and Union Territories (UTs). This Act mandates the government to guarantee the provision of free and compulsory primary education for all children aged 6 to 14, with a specific focus on local private unaided schools.
