Proximity Regulations Concerning School and Residence:
Students Residing Within 1 Kilometer of the Public School, Students Residing Within 3 Kilometers of the Public School, and Students Residing Beyond 3 Kilometers of the Public School, contingent upon the submission of a parental agreement for the safe transportation of the child.
The age criteria for all classes are determined as of 31st March 2025:
The age requirements for all classes are established as of March 31, 2025: Pre-Primary Level-1 is for children born between April 1, 2021, and March 31, 2022 (ages 3 to 4 years); Pre-Primary Level-2 is for those born between April 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021 (ages 4 to 5 years); and Pre-Primary Level-3 is for children born between April 1, 2019, and March 31, 2020 (ages 5 to 6 years). Furthermore, unaided recognized private schools in Chandigarh are not allowed to admit children under the EWS/DG category for the entry-level class through offline methods.
