Selection Procedure for Maharashtra Diploma Admission 2025
Approval of the Merit List and Admitted Candidates: Upon concluding the admission process, each institution is required to submit a proposal for admission approval to the Competent Authority. This proposal must encompass a comprehensive list of all accepted candidates, detailing their quota, type of candidature, reservation status, qualification marks, and any other relevant information, along with the necessary documentation for each admitted candidate at the institutional level.
In the event that an unaided minority institution does not admit at least fifty-one percent of its sanctioned intake from individuals belonging to the relevant minority group for three consecutive years, the Competent Authority will notify the Department. The Department will then relay such occurrences, along with its observations, to the Minorities Development Department in accordance with the provisions outlined in section 12C of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act 2004.
Essential Guidelines for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2025-26
If candidates do not validate their online application form according to the chosen method, whether E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode, their applications will be disqualified, and their names will be excluded from the merit lists generated for both the CAP and Non-CAP admission processes.
All candidates belonging to the Backward Class categories (including VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, and SEBC) are required to present a Non Creamy Layer certificate that remains valid until March 31, 2026, depending on whether they choose EScrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode. Candidates who fail to provide the Non Creamy Layer certificate will be classified as GENERAL category candidates and will forfeit their eligibility to claim Reserved seats during the admission process.
Candidates from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) must present a valid Eligibility Certificate (refer to Pro forma – V) for the Economically Weaker Section, which is effective until March 31, 2026, or for the academic year 2025-26, depending on whether they choose E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode. Failure to provide the Eligibility Certificate will result in these candidates being classified as GENERAL category candidates, thereby disqualifying them from claiming Reserved seats during the admission process. Furthermore, any EWS certificate issued in accordance with the Central Government’s EWS reservations policy (Central List) will not be accepted.
In both E-Scrutiny Mode and Physical Scrutiny Mode, candidates are required to present the appropriate and valid documents to support the claims made in their application forms. Failure to submit the necessary documents will result in the forfeiture of those claims, and the applications of such candidates will be processed without taking those claims into account.
Candidates who have registered under a reserved category but fail to provide the necessary certificate to substantiate their reservation claim during the document verification process, whether conducted via E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny, will be classified as GENERAL category candidates and will be required to pay an additional fee of 100/- exclusively through online payment methods.
Candidates choosing the Physical Scrutiny Mode must present all necessary original documents for examination at the FC.
The subsequent timetable for the completion and validation of the Option Form for CAP Rounds, CAP Allotment, seat acceptance, candidate reporting to institutions, Institute Level admissions, and the admission cut-off date will be announced following the release of the Final Merit List and will be made available on the website: https://poly25.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/ |
