Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025-26: Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025-26 Begins: Online Application Process Now Live (21.05.2025, Wednesday).

The Government of Maharashtra has officially opened the online application process for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions for the academic year 2025–26. Starting today, May 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM, students across the state can register for Round 1 of Class 11 admissions through the centralized portal: mahafyjcadmissions.in. The application window will remain open until 9:00 PM on May 28, 2025.

Applicants can choose up to ten colleges as their preferences during registration. This newly introduced Central Admission Process (CAP) replaces the previous decentralized system, aiming to bring greater transparency, efficiency, and fairness to the seat allocation process.

The CAP will cover all admissions across eight divisions in Maharashtra: Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Sambhajinagar, Amravati, Nagpur, Kolhapur, and Latur. All admissions will be conducted online and based on merit.

The online application window for Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025-26 opens today, 21st May 2025, from 11 AM. Visit mahafyjcadmissions.in to register.

Information on Date & Time for Round-1 of the Centralized Admission Process

26 May 2025 11 AM to 3 June 2025 6:00 PM

  • students will be able to register and submit their applications online, including their preferences.
  • Each student is permitted to enroll in a minimum of one and a maximum of ten preferences for Junior Colleges.
  • The allotment will be determined based on the students’ preferences, their academic marks, and any relevant reservations specified in the application form.
  • Additionally, students may apply online for Quota at the same time. (Zero Round for Management/In-house/Minority Quota)
  • Students must provide their consent during each round.
  • Students who are not admitted have the option to fill out and modify their preferences/stream after each round.

    5 June 2025

    • Presentation of the PROVISIONAL GENERAL MERIT LIST

    6 June 2025 to 7 June 2025

    • Submission of objections or correction requests regarding the Provisional General Merit List (if applicable) via the “Grievance Redressal” section in the student login.
    • Online resolution of grievances or correction requests by the relevant Deputy Director of Education.
    • Finalization of grievance redressal by the appropriate Deputy Director of Education.

    8 June 2025

    • FINALIZATION OF THE GENERAL MERIT LIST (Single occurrence activity) and Zero Round allocation for Management/In House/Minority Quota

    From 9 June 2025 to 11 June 2025

    • The department will provide a list of Zero Round -Quota Admission for Minority, Quota, In-House Quota, and Management Quota at the college level.

    9 June 2025 (CAP Round-1)

    • Preparation of the merit list for eligible candidates and allocation. Audit of the allocation conducted by the divisional CAP committees.

    10 June 2025 (CAP Round-1)

    • The Jr. College Allotment list for the Round will be displayed on the portal.
    • Allotted Jr. College details for admission will be available in the student login.
    • A list of students allotted to Jr. Colleges will be displayed.
    • The cut-off list for the Admission Round will be published on the Portal.

    From 11 June 2025 to 18 June 2025: Admission

    1. Students should click on (Proceed For Admission) if they agree with the assigned Junior College.
    2. Students must report to the designated college for document verification, payment of the required fees, and confirmation of admission in the assigned Junior College.
    3. If a student chooses not to enroll in the assigned Junior College, they should participate in the next round.
    4. Admission confirmation, rejection, and cancellation can be managed through the College Login.
    5. Student registration, including preference selection, will remain open for new applicants in the NEXT ROUND, provided the student has given their consent.

    Notes:

    • If a student wishes to cancel their confirmed admission, they may request the relevant Junior College to process the cancellation. Students who cancel their admissions will also face restrictions for the subsequent Regular Round and will only be eligible for consideration after the next round.
    • If a student intends to enroll in the assigned Junior College, they must click on ‘Proceed for Admission’ in the Student Login, upload the necessary documents, and confirm their admission in the assigned Junior College.
    • If a student opts not to enroll in the assigned Junior College, they may wait for the subsequent round. HOWEVER,
    • Students who have been assigned their first preference are required to enroll in the assigned Junior College. Failure to do so or rejection will result in a block for the subsequent Regular Rounds 2 to 4, and they will only be eligible for consideration in all rounds thereafter.

    20 June 2025

    • Announcement of openings for Regular Round 2 (which includes Quota seats for Junior Colleges)

    Instructions:

    1. Students who have secured their admission in any Junior College through CAP or QUOTA have completed the admission process for themselves.
    2. Registration fees must be paid exclusively through Digital Payment methods.
    3. All stakeholders are required to adhere to the specified time limits (as per the schedule) for any activity.
    4. The Zero Round for Management/In-House Quota/Minority Quota admissions will take place from 09-06-2025 to 11-06-2025.

    • Student Registration and Preferences Submission (Practice Session) Note: This is solely a practice session; the data will be removed from the admission portal at midnight on May 20, 2025. Students are required to complete a new registration and submit the actual application form starting from May 21, 2025.

    21-05-2025, 11:00 AM – 28-05-2025, 06:00 PM

    1. Students may register and submit their applications online, indicating their preferences.
    2. Each student can select between one and ten Junior College preferences for enrollment.
    3. Allotments will be made based on the students’ preferences, academic marks, and any applicable reservations stated in the application form.
    4. Students may also apply online for quota considerations concurrently (Zero Round for Management/In-house/Minority Quota).
    5. Students are required to provide their consent at each round of the process.
    6. Students who have not been admitted can modify and update their preferences or streams after each round.

    1. The Jr. College allotment list for Round-1 will be published on the portal.
    2. Students can view their allotted Jr. College details through their login.
    3. The list of students allotted to Jr. Colleges will be made available.
    4. The cut-off list for the admission round will be released on the portal.

    06-06-2025, 11:00 AM To 12-06-2025, 06:00 PM

    • Students must click “Proceed For Admission” if they accept the allotted Junior College.
    • Students are required to report to the allotted college for document verification, payment of prescribed fees, and confirmation of admission.
    • Students who do not wish to take admission in the allotted Junior College must participate in the next round.
    • Admission confirmation, rejection, and cancellation will be managed through the college login.
    • Registration for new applicants with preference filling will continue for the next round, subject to student consent.

    Note:

    If a student wishes to take admission in the allotted Jr. College, they must click “Proceed for Admission” in the student login, upload the required documents, and then confirm their admission.

    If a student does not want to take admission in the allotted Jr. College, they may wait for the subsequent rounds.

    However, students who have been allotted their first preference must take admission in the allotted Jr. College. Failure to do so or rejection of admission will result in the student being blocked from participating in Regular Rounds 2 to 4 and will only be eligible from the Open Round onwards.

    If a student wishes to cancel a confirmed admission, they must request the concerned Jr. College to cancel it. Students who cancel their admission will also be restricted from participating in the next Regular Round and will be considered only after that round.
