RRB Group D 2025 Registration Begins Soon
The application status for RRB Group D will be released shortly by the RRBs. Candidates can check the status of their application form by logging in with the required credentials. This status will indicate whether the candidates’ application forms have been accepted or rejected.
The application form for RRB Group D 2025 was made available on January 23, 2025. The application fee is INR 500 for all candidates, with the exception of those in fee concession categories. For candidates who are PwBD, female, transgender, ex-servicemen, or belong to SC/ST/minority communities or economically backward classes, the fee is reduced to INR 250. Payment of the fee can be made online. The application fee will be refunded after candidates take part in the CBT. Candidates from unreserved categories will receive a partial refund of their application fees, while those from reserved categories will receive a full refund.
The link to check the application status will be activated after the application process has concluded. To check their application status, candidates need to enter their registration number, date of birth, and security code.

Application Process for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025
- Access the official website – www.rrbcdg.gov.in
- Click on the link labeled ‘New Registration’.
- Register for the examination by filling in your name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar Number, SSLC/Matric registration number, year of passing, mobile number, email ID, and then submit the registration form.
- Upon successful registration, a registration number and password will be created.
- In Part I of the application page, provide information regarding your educational qualifications, community, gender, religion, Ex-Servicemen status, CCAA, Minority status, Economically Backward Class, Age Relaxation, and any other pertinent details.
- In Part II of the application page, indicate your priority or preference for the RRB Group D posts.
- Make the application fee payment using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Offline challan.
- Choose your preferred exam languages from the following: Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.

RRB Group D Recruitment Level-1 Cost

RRB Group D Eligibility Requirements 2025
The RRBs have modified the eligibility requirements for RRB Group D for those who plan to apply for the examination in the future. Candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of having passed the 10th grade, ITI, or an equivalent qualification, or possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by NCVT. A candidate must be categorized into one of the following groups:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who entered India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intent to settle permanently in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries including Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, with the purpose of permanently settling in India.
Structure of RRB Group D Examination 2025
This exam pattern is organized into three segments: CBT, Document Verification, and Medical examination. The CBT section of the RRB Group D exam pattern consists of questions covering General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, along with General Awareness and Current Affairs. Candidates are given a time frame of 90 minutes to answer the questions. A deduction of 1/3 marks occurs for each incorrect response.
Candidates who succeed in the CBT are subsequently called for the PET/PST. This stage is qualifying; however, candidates must pass it. Those who qualify the PET/PST will be invited for Document Verification and the Medical examination. The final selection process is based on the CBT results, contingent upon candidates passing the PET/PST, Document Verification, and Medical Exam. Normalization of Scores
The evaluation of RRB Group D scores is performed through a normalization process. Since the examination occurs in various shifts, the candidates’ scores are normalized utilizing a percentile-based calculation method. The results are published based on the scores calculated through this percentile method.

Selection Process for RRB Group D 2025
The recruitment process for various Group D roles will consist of the following stages-
