Application Process of West Bengal RTE Admission 2025-26
Admission forms will be provided free of charge at all educational institutions and on the official Banglar Shiksha website (banglarshiksha.gov.in). This form is relevant for all types of schools mentioned earlier. Applicants must submit a self-attested copy of their birth certificate along with the application form at the school. If the birth certificate is unavailable during the application process, a declaration of the child’s age from a parent or guardian will be accepted. The birth certificate must be submitted within six months, in compliance with the RTE Rules 2012.
Furthermore, a self-certified copy of the reservation certificate issued by the appropriate authority must be included with the application form to avail reservation benefits. It is essential that every section of the application form is filled out with precise information.
Selection Process of West Bengal RTE Admission 2025-26
The selection procedure will utilize the ‘Draw of Lots’ method. This drawing event is scheduled to occur within the dates outlined in the table above. Following the selection of candidates, they are required to present their original birth certificates along with any pertinent documents requested by the school during the admission process. In the absence of a birth certificate at the time of admission, a grace period of six months will be allowed in accordance with the provisions of the Right to Education Act. If any candidates selected are subsequently rejected by the school management after being listed on the admission panel, this will be communicated to the district authorities.
